The State of Associations: How to Thrive in Change and Uncertainty

In today’s rapidly evolving world, associations must be tuned into their external environment and operate strategically to innovate and navigate change effectively. Research from association executives has revealed that workforce shifts, economic disruptions, regulatory and legislative developments, sustainability commitments, and digital transformation are trends that will significantly influence associations over the next 5 - 10 years.

This session will explain how to take strategic action toward each trend to position your association for resilience. We will also explore benchmarking data that highlights the recent strategic priorities of association leaders at trade and professional societies.

Learn how to build a dynamic organizational strategy that positions your organization to anticipate external threats, leverage its strengths, and provide value to your members.

Learning Objectives – attendees will gain:

  • Explore the top trends expected to impact associations over the next 5 -10 years
  • Uncover the recent strategic priorities of association leaders
  • Learn ways you can take strategic action to position your association for continued resilience
